The client

A client from Switzerland came to us. She wanted to fulfill her lifelong dream — to develop a classifieds platform.

She liked the cases in our portfolio and the fact that we build MVPs for startups. This is how our cooperation started.

The client found an investor for the project, but the budget was low. She was looking for an agency that would help her develop an MVP and stay within the budget.

Look4pro is a web platform for the B2B segment that is similar to a bulletin board. Users look for those who can provide services, sell items, or invest in a project.

Initially, the client planned to launch a platform that would help search for rare items, such as collectibles and vintage pieces. However, while discussing the project, she narrowed down the niche and decided to make a B2B platform. We supported this decision because the initial target audience was broad — their pains and needs could be different.

While analyzing competitors, our designers noticed that the
platforms providing services use shades of red, whereas the product
marketplaces use blue and green.

Based on this information, we offered two palettes to choose from

Так как платформа ориентирована на европейский рынок, мы реализовали
возможность переключения языков. Мультиязычность лучше добавлять
на первых этапах, потому что она требует работы с кодом. Но заказчица
не определилась со списком языков, и мы думали, что в будущем возникнут
трудности с интеграцией. 

Since the platform is oriented towards the European market, we implemented
the ability to switch languages. It is better to add multilingualism at the first stages,
because it requires working with the code. But the customer did not decide on the list
of languages, and we thought that there would be difficulties with integration in the future.

В итоге у нас получилось найти решение. Мы использовали JSON-
файлы и базы данных с текстовыми строками. Их легко расширять,
а разработчикам не надо переписывать код.

In the end, we found a solution. We used JSON files and databases
with text strings. They are easy to extend, and developers do not have
to rewrite the code.

The platform offers a subscription.

It allows users to view an ad author’s contacts.

To sell the subscription right on the platform, we integrated the Stripe service.

However, there was a problem — the security code became outdated, and the 3D Secure cards couldn’t be attached. The system thought it had already processed the information, and a user couldn’t repeat the process.

We solved this problem by rewriting the key component.

Now, it works without a code — when it’s necessary to verify a card via 3D Secure, a new code is provided directly from the server.

The client was satisfied with our work. During
the development, she took marketing courses
to manage the product efficiently.
