Android's device fragmentation is real and larger than iOS's by a wide margin: dozens of OEMs (Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Google, and smaller regional brands) each customize the OS layer, and production traffic on most Android apps still spans OS versions from Android 8 through Android 15.
